Finding nice housing is difficult in Amsterdam, especially for expats, but choosing to live here made the process honestly so much more simple. It's situated in the absolute best neighborhood in Amsterdam. A few steps from a nice supermarket, bars and breweries, a cafe, and the IJ river, there are also parks nearby. I really recommend it.
M	Mircea Cosbuc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoyed my stay here for more than 3 years. The building and the service has been constantly improving and I'm sure it will keep on improving. This is the easiest set-up you can get in Amsterdam if all you want to carry around is clothes; everything else comes with the place. You're close to anything central thanks to the ferries and the metro and you're far enough from the center to relax when you're at home.

The existing furniture and accessories are high quality, the wall-bed adds welcomed space. The location (Noord) is in a vibrant and growing neighbourhood, convenient super markets, lekker cafés, bars, restaurants, activity facilities and transportation. Noord metro takes all but 7 minutes to de Pijp. Incredible place, I highly recommend living here! Cheers!

Pluses: great location - close to the metro, Centraal, supermarkets, nightlife, parks and nature, ferryboats across the IJ. Great service - staff was always friendly, helpful, and available. Ambience: the studios are well maintained, beautiful, cozy, well-furnished. The inner court is also a great place to relax, read a book or watch a movie on your laptop. Cons: biggest one is the cost, but it's Amsterdam, can't be helped. Second one is the size - the studios are tiny, which is perfect for a single person, but they can be very tight quarters for a couple. Lastly, minor gripes - the building was planned have two restaurants on its ground floor, but only one ever opened (and last I checked was closed for an extended period due to staff injury). The bathroom looks amazing but lacks some basic functionality (like a place to hang your wet towel, other than a cupboard door, or a convenient place to keep toiletries in the shower). I found the chairs in the room to be very uncomfortable which didn't matter before the pandemic started and I had to work from home... Overall, a great place for a young single person to stay in Amsterdam and focus on work and life vs household chores.

According to some of my friends I lived in a hotel ;-) At N.O. they are actually taking really good care of you, they are always there to help you. They also respond fast on both email or phone calls. During office hours one can also directly address a question in person to the N.O. staff. This is something personally value a lot. It was very comfortable, clean, safe and pleasant to live here. Compared to other options in Amsterdam I believe you really get a lot of value for money. Especially when you come from abroad, you only need to unpack your suitcase and you're settled. It got all you need. I certainly recommend this place. 5 stars.

The concierge Juan is an amazing person always available and ready to help you anytime and always on top ! For sure we will suggest North Orleans to other people the location is fantastic full of bars and restaurants around also a lot of supermarkets and well connected to the Metro . Thank a lot for everything

The apartments are top notch and the sense of community while living here was great. The management and staff are amazing, especially Juan who is the concierge, he has been incredibly helpful and sweet, always there when you need help with something and goes out of his way to help.
