De recruiters van Novisource hebben nogal moeite om afspraken na te komen. Ik heb in totaal twee keer een bel afspraak gehad om een vacature te bespreken. Eerste keer "vergeten" door de recruiter, wel één dag later een berichtje voor een nieuwe afspraak. Bij de tweede afspraak helemaal niks meer vernomen…. Ook de dagen erna niet.
The recruiters at Novisource have a lot of trouble keeping to agreements. I had a total of two phone calls to discuss a vacancy. First time "forgotten" by the recruiter, but one day later a message for a new appointment. Nothing more at the second appointment…. Not even the days after.

Applied through LinkedIn. I’m a Dutch native expat living abroad. I was looking for a job back in the Netherlands so applied. Was contacted by their internal recruiter Majda Iabkrimen through LinkedIn Message. She wrote (summarised): you’re not hired because you don’t know Dutch. Recruiter was a Dutch speaker herself. Strangely, just by my name you can know I’m Dutch. I replied stating that: my CV states I’m a Dutch native. In the head summary of the document! My LinkedIn summary AND language section state I’m a native. She replied saying she indeed didn’t see it on my resume but said she head read it (adding lies as she would have looked for Dutch proficiency, the main criteria she rejected me for the job). Besides, in the rejection email she wrote that I was rejected for not speaking Dutch "after careful consideration". Now perhaps that's just me, but wouldn't a careful consideration of an application include a) reading the first sentence of a resume, b) reading the first section of a LinkedIn profile c) ask the applicant if anything is unclear, d) if all else fails, realise that the name of the applicant is Dutch? Then I thanked her for her reply and asked my resume to be deleted from their database, kindly stating I don’t want to work with her as recruiter. Next week the company itself called me. The lady had picked up my CV herself and was impressed, decided to call me. She apologised for the recruiter. I said it’s fine and we continued. She told me about the job and I expressed my interest. It was Friday and she/the recruiter would get back to me the next week. A month later, still complete silence. For a company that labels itself a "Source of Excellent People", perhaps some rebranding is necessary. Seriously the most unprofessional company I dealt with in my career.
