It's been a long search to find the right place. Fabian and Kim from Number XII helped us find the right place in a short period of time. Thanks Duinzigt for helping us find the place to rent. Good professional services.

We had an appointment for viewing an apartment. The estate agent arrived late. We were there more than 10 people at the same time for the same appointment. We were called 3 by 3 to view the property having to wait outside for over half an hour. "Thank god" the agent couldn't find the keys of the front door and nobody could view the apartment. It saved us extra waiting time. They treated customers like cattle. It cost too little to manage the appointments properly.

Number XII were entirely unhelpful and difficult to communicate with. We had several instances of incompetence on their end, starting with what seemed to be a minor miscommunication. We were scheduled to view an apartment over video call when ten minutes after our scheduled viewing time we received an email that they were unable to reach us despite the fact that no calls were received on our end. This turned out to be a failure on their part as our contact was written down incorrectly despite it being confirmed during an initial call. Following this, we were promised a video recording of said apartment, which we ended up never getting despite contacting them several times over. Another viewing with them was scheduled a week later, which was confirmed over the phone but no confirmation was ever sent by email. When we arrived at the viewing, no realtor was present, and after another phone call with the company, we were told that the viewing had actually occurred the day prior and we were never informed despite being in their system. Instead we were offered a viewing of the previous apartment on the same day, which initially went well. However, when it came to sending documents and applying for the apartment, the challenges began anew. After initially sending what we believed to be all the documents necessary for us to be viable candidates, we received an email with a new list of documents that repeated several items that we had already sent. In addition to that, they seemed to have a strange difficulty in opening encrypted zip files, which we used to ensure our own privacy when applying to the apartment. Instead, we were forced to send regular files despite there being plenty of sensitive information included in these documents. After sending more documents, we received several calls during our workday, claiming that if our documents weren’t sent by a certain time (despite having only received the email about new documents 48 hours prior) that we would no longer be considered for the apartment. No accommodation was made for the fact that some documents require more time for procurement than a simple twenty minutes, and made communication tense and uncomfortable, on top of the fact that they seemed to be unable to clearly explain what it was that they needed, as several similar documents were sent that they claimed never fulfilled their requirements. Several phone calls later and nothing was made clearer, and ultimately we decided not to go with the property as this incredible difficulty of communication and constant incompetence on their part would permanently hang over our time renting the apartment. If you’re looking for a clear and communicative realtor agency, do not work with Number XII.
