β β β β β It is a shame that it was during the lockdown when we ordered from oakwood for the first time. However, the food was every bit top notch even when it was picked up as a take away(& during the lockdown) - The fries were fresh and their vegetarian burger(the only vega dish on their menu), is amazingly(& surprisingly) awesome. Cannot speak about the actual ambience due to corona but the attention to detail points to the fact that it would be nothing less than top level. Also the online ordering process was very smooth. Highly recommended!

β β β β β It used to be our favorite steakhouse restaurant because the meat was just incredible with its grilled flavor. Unfortunately, over the years, quality has decreased, the meat is much more watery and has lost its incredible flavor which was making Oakwood the best steakhouse in Veldhoven. The staff is very friendly and the service is very good but unfortunately, food has lost its magic. It's still good though but not incredible like before.

β β β β β Without a single doubt, one if not THE best steak house in the vicinity of Eindhoven and the area. The price might be bit up there, but for the quality it is well worth the tag. Our favorite is the filet steak, combined with the truffle sauce paired with the potato wedges - and if there is still room to spare afterwards - go for the legendary cheese cake - it will not disappoint!

β β β β β We had to change our reservation from three to two on the day we had planned to visit. The friendly staff member I spoke on the phone made no problem of it at all. Sadly this meant we got a rather drafty spot near the front door with cold blasts of air every time someone entered. The very nicely decorated restaurant was packed which slowed service down, who were very good but just understaffed. We weren't in a rush, so that was ok but running out of drinks when meals were served was a bit disappointing. The food was excellent although we did ask to return one of our steaks to the grill for not being cooked medium as we requested, this was handled very nicely. A selection of different salts served with the steaks was a very nice touch I haven't seen before. Specially the Molokai black lava salt was very interesting!
After being allowed to reopen due to covid for a couple of weeks now it seems this restaurant is taking on more guests than it can handle while trying to maintain the high standards which it is most definitely capable of. This is a pity but understandable. With that in mind, I definitely recommend this restaurant (and its hard working staff).
