★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi heideveld waar deze zonnetempel staat, maar verwar deze niet met een hunnebed. Het is een hedendaags kunstwerk van rond 2000. De sluitsteen bevond zich op het land van een Frans-bretonse boer. De steen zou ooit gebruikt worden voor een sculptuur werd er lang geleden gezegd. Deze 13 ton zware erosie-steen is door de beeldhouwer Ron Schreefel naar Drenthe vervoerd en heeft hier een mooie bestemming gekregen. Makkelijk te bereiken via de vele fietspaden. Vooral op een mooie zonnige dag de moeite waard.
Beautiful heathland where this sun temple is located, but do not confuse it with a dolmen. It is a contemporary work of art from around 2000. The keystone was on the land of a French-Breton farmer. It was said a long time ago that the stone would be used for a sculpture. This 13-ton erosion stone was transported to Drenthe by the sculptor Ron Schreefel and has been given a beautiful destination here. Easy to reach via the many bike paths. Worth it, especially on a beautiful sunny day.
