β β β β β Surely the best (and prettiest) sushi one can find in the Hague.
The place is run by two extremely kind girls who are in the business with all their heart.
Almost anyone can prepare a delicious meal with good and fresh ingredients, but only a few can take it to the next level like the girls at Ohmu do.
Their food speaks for itself, proving their chef skills, technique and attention to detail. You wonβt find any premade sauces here, they prepare all of them themselves!
Even though they are clearly professionals in what they do, the atmosphere at Ohmu remains relaxed and you can easily chat with the chefs while eating on the kitchen counter.
Since they strive for serving food immediately after they prepare it so customers can enjoy fresh bites of sushi, it sometimes take a while until your order is complete, but the food is well worth the wait.
If you are looking for sushi that will blow your mind, this is the place to be. But trust me, this place is far more than just delicious sushi.
If I could afford it Iβd eat here every day!

Amazing dishes the scallop ceviche is great and the mixed platters are the best deal had a unagi roll in the mix which is not on the regular menu. The kombucha is spicy but one of the best Iβve had goes well with the meal. They let us try the homemade ginger and it was good better than the packaged stuff for sure. The soft shelled crab roll was good as well. Tempura could be crispier but they donβt add the crisp flakes so understandable but the sesame seed mayo teriyaki sauce is so savoury and good.

This place is familiar, quint and I quickly learned, a neighborhood darling. Also, theres a live-edge bar table here! Thatβs all.
The chefs are greeted by their customers with endearment and kindness and suddenly I feel at home. The place is adorned with plants and home made ceramic dishes and a lot of loving energy.
The food is very fresh and delicious. It honestly just feels good in your body and mouth. I highly recommend the Eel rollβIt is a buttery melt in your mouth sensation.

β β β β β I went with my husband because I wanted to try their vegan sushi, and it's not disappointing at all. It wasn't so comfortable to sit inside as there were only a few chairs available (maybe because of some precaution). Nevertheless, I enjoyed the autumn ambiance and the sushi is the BEST I ever had.
The flavor was rich, there was attention to detail here and there, it tasted like no other sushi I've tried - more like a fusion style, I even had pumpkin sushi but it was tasty. And the wasabi, oh so good! Love it.

β β β β β I travelled to The Hague for just 4 days, had 3 meals at Ohmi Sushi; I think that speaks quite clearly to the quality of the sushi. The owner and all the staff have such profound passion in their work, and they are lovely to talk to! Hint: try their seared scallop!
