★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very inhuman company, they only care about money, they refuse to insure dogs and cats above 7 years old, discouraging people to adopt elderly shelter animals, the insurance also doesn't cover anything, i had insured my 5 year old dog here and i ended up paying most of the costs, they literally pay nothing, defenatly not recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a really bad experience with their customer service (and it was in regards to cancel the insurance within the first 14 days). So I can not say much about the insurance itself. But their customer service doesn't seem to very knowledgeable about neither their products or procedures, and that is a no go for me.
Other departments from OHRA have been very friendly and professional and I hope they will address the issues with their customer service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is scam. Worst insurance ever!
After having two years of insurance with them without any usage, I asked a question from them and they answered "blah blah". Based on their answer I spent 12000 euros, and when I wanted to get benefit from my insurance, they said what we told to you was wrong!! That means "blah blah" was wrong. I've been told that "you talked to one of our new employees and she did not know the procedure due to lack of experience." And they said we only can say our apologize, nothing more!
And what about my money? They said:THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM!
I did not translate "blah blah" to keep the long story short. I'm going to sue them via law.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wish I could give them zero stars. I haven had any issues with pet insurance companies in 2 other counties until I signed up to OHRA in NL. Terrible company who does everything it can to weasel out of paying a claim. How hard is it just to pay the claim and increase my monthly payments?! They act like every customer is out to scam them. I will be changing insurance to a company who actually values me as a customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst insurance company ever. I made my cat’s health insurance from this company, and there was 3 options: basic, premium, fancy one (don’t remember the exact names but you get the idea). And I chose the premium one. They didn’t even pay for the VACCINES, let alone vet control, even in emergency situations. When I asked what exactly the insurance cover, the customer service couldn’t answer my question. I couldn’t cancel the policy, so I paid for nothing for a year. Also, although I wanted to arrange the cancellation before the year was over, the customer service was no help in that as well. Do not trust them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The absolutely worst insurance company for pets. We had to rush our beloved pet to the emergency vet and, in the end, had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. What does OHRA do? Declines reimbursement of the costs and termination of the insurance because the vet wrote the cat's nickname to the invoice. So, according to OHRA, apparently our kitty cat is live and well. The fact that you might be emotionally too distressed to realize such a minor detail such a name vs nick name doesn't matter nor does that the chip information would enable them to identify the pet...so now on top of grieving the loss, we have to fight this bureaucratic mess.
