S	Suzanne Petri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oosterend is de laatste plaats op Terschelling. Bij de wierschuur heb je een prachtig uitzicht over het wad. Aan zee is een prachtig breed strand, net als overal op Terschelling trouwens. Er is hier een eetgelegenheid de heartbreak hotel heet. Hier kun je heerlijk eten en drinken en genieten op het terras van het weidse uitzicht. Als je vanaf het heartbreak hotel een stuk doorloopt richting Bosplaat (natuurgebied) kom je bij het drenkelingenhuisje. (6 km ongeveer) dit is het laatste 'huisje' op Terschelling en werd vroeger gebruikt om in te schuilen bij onverwacht opkomende vloed . Oosterend is the last place on Terschelling. At the wierschuur you have a beautiful view over the mudflats. There is a beautiful wide beach by the sea, just like everywhere on Terschelling. There is a restaurant here called the heartbreak hotel. Here you can eat and drink and enjoy the panoramic view on the terrace. If you walk from the heartbreak hotel in the direction of Bosplaat (nature reserve) you will arrive at the drowning house. (approx. 6 km) this is the last 'house' on Terschelling and used to be used as shelter during unexpectedly rising high tides.

W	Will Traets on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooie uitkijkplaats op de bocht van een fietsroute. Deze is ook met de auto bereikbaar. Er is een parkeerplaats dichtbij. Je kijkt uit op de Wierschuur, het water en de weilanden.. Nice vantage point on the bend of a cycling route. This is also accessible by car. There is a parking lot close by. You look out on the Wierschuur, the water and the meadows.
