★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful and small, there is a few benches around so I suggeste to bring a small lunch to have there.
Parking:
THE PARKING AROUND IS FOR PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE ONLY, SO YOU WILL GET A TICKET IF YOU''LL PARK NEAR IT!!! (Ask some officers who were around).
We parked at a underground parking (3€ an hour) but really, so if you're planing on staying long its a few minutes away....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I get a little overwhelmed when I arrive in a new city. Not because I’m lost but because I want to see as much as possible and also capture it in the best light possible. While it isn’t always possible to see it all, racking up as many kilometres as possible, definitely increases the odds of finding yet another picturesque scene. This scene was so picturesque it looks more like a painting, what do you think? I would have loved to go back and try to get it without vehicles but you can’t win them all. I love all the lily pads leading your eye to the bridge, and the Eastern Gate in the background

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The last remaining town gate of Delft built in 1400. It is truly a nice place to visit. I definitely recommend sitting on a bench in the park on the other side of the canal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is the picturesque old Eastern Gate along the east end Canal of the old town, The building's twin towers were constructed around 1400. It is easy to reach by walking and great to take some pictures there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely stunning architecture that is so rich with history. This is a great 5 minute stop for a photo opportunity. This was one of the few gates that had both a water and land entrance to a city that were side by side. Note, if you're taking pictures, be careful of bike traffic coming around the blind corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ impressive gate with two high gothic spires and octagonal floors! close to my apt and right on the way to the city center, good spot to sit on a bench and listen to some music! 2 weeping willows beside the gate!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This gate is the only remaining city-gate in Delft and it is a typical example of Brick Gothic architecture, built around 1400. Since it is 5 minutes away from the centre on foot, you had better visit and enjoy walking through this iconic city gate. However, you are not allowed to see inside.
