Oh, dear, this is not a very good place to eat Chinese food. The food is so bland and tasteless, it is a real disappointment. I ordered a dish with a garlic sauce and I could taste no garlic. Apparently, salt is also in short supply, and there was, I would guess, no other seasoning used at all. Rather sad overall. It is a beautiful location and building, but if you want good food, this is not the place.

We went in to this restaurant around 5:30pm, it was 37°outside, and they wouldn't turn the aircon on for us. The reason we came was because of the juliana park... The dishes were totally overpriced: one steam cod fish was 36 euro. Besides cod fish, we had noodle soup with sliced chicken, shanghai Bok Choy (plain), 3 dishes is 78 er. I guess only the dessert is worth mentioned, because is not cooked in Chinese style. The waiter was nice, I taught him how to turn the aircon on toward to the end of our dining.

Today I went there for the first time but it is definitely the last time that I went there. It is an all you can eat Sushi, so my expectations where kit that high but I got disappointed. The sushi was not fresh. Low quality. The Advocados that where used where not ripe. Looking at the wasabi you could tell that it was prepared at least a couple hours before it was served. First we waited forever to get our orders. The staff was not friendly and not at all organised. They lost one of our orders and instead of handling it professionally they came back three times to ask us who took it, told us they still couldn't find it and that we should check again if it is somewhere on or under our table. 15 minutes later they gave us a new sheet to order. In the end we received 3 orders at one.

It's okay. All you can eat was tasty but some dishes were more salty. Some dishes also looked nothing (not even close) like the pictures. On Saturday it was not that busy and it looks nice inside. Waiters were unorganized and didn't seem to understand us.

Where should I begin… it begun with an exciting feeling of having a Teppanyaki dinner after such a long time. We have ordered one of the set menus and one consists of oyster prepared on the hot plate. The oyster was served and I took a bite only to find a long hair in my mouth. I almost choked from removing it in my mouth and was rather embarrassed just to spit it out as there are others next to and fronting us at the Teppanyaki table. My husband decided to tell the incident to the waitress. After a minute or two she came back offering her apologies and offered if we wanted to have some oysters again. I have kindly refused the offer until my husband said if we can exchange that offer for a sake. Since we have been drinking the sake the entire dinner it’s not even a bad choice. The waitress left and came the restaurant manager reprimanding us what happened. We have explained what happend and instead he asked where the oyster is and where is the hair? I told him that it’s not there anymore as the table have been cleared. He left with out any slight of empathy to the situation and with a grin face left our presence. Then came a a small glass of sake! Mind you.. a glass and not a small sake bottle. This is what made me really disgusted, the behavior and the insult I find. No excuses for the situation and a small glass of sake. It is more the behavior of the manager and the way the situation was handled making this experience of having a bad Teppanyaki at Restaurant Juliana in Utrecht. Bad bad bad.. very disappointed.

It's a good place to eat dinner! The Peking Duck was really good and the black pepper beef tasted nice and peppery! The place is quite new on the dimsum part so some things weren't as great as you would have expected like in The Hague...but give this restaurant some time and it will definitely improve on the dimsum part. But for dinner if you really want to eat Chinese food I can recommend this one (portions are good as well) parking is free so really convenient if you don't want to go to the city center and search for a parking spot.

Came here for all you can eat dinner. The sashimi was fresh and had generous cuts. The dishes that were good were really good like the dragon roll and ebi tempura. The sushi rice is cooked and seasoned well. The miso soup had a layer of oil which made it quite unpleasant to have. The charsiu was dry and not authentic. Dessert was self serve and you used your own spoon to scoop out the ice cream. Due to corona times, this made it very unappealing to us so we skipped dessert. The house wine is quite awful but they do have a (pricey) wine list to choose from by the bottle. It was a Monday night but they seemed to be understaffed. An elderly man seemed to be running around trying to cater for everyone, the younger male waiter looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but there. The lack of staff resulted in extremely slow service. Not sure if it always like this or that we caught them on an off day. For 27 euros per person, I don’t think it is worth it due to the slow service but I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try them once again to see if I caught them on a bad day. Pity as the place has so much potential.

Finally yesterday I found the best Dim Sum restaurant I've ever eaten. It is usually one of the delights that make me happy, but hard to find with great quality. I had dinner at Juliana restaurant and there I found a great variety of Dim Sum on the menu. It definitely took me to the clouds!!! I recommend that you taste it and believe it... I am looking for award to the next visit. JUST DELICIOUS!!!
