Vintage Eames chairs have a real charm - far nicer than modern reproductions. I bought one for my partner as a present and will be back for more to complete the set for my kitchen. The whole buying experience was really easy; Joost was extremely helpful; the chair was shipped from the Netherlands to rural Somerset with no fuss and it arrived in perfect condition. 10/10 for quality and service.

It's worth checking every now and then if you are looking for a special colour. I was looking for 6 chairs in the colour parchment this year. After some research on the internet I found the website of Joost and got in contact with him. Coincidentally he just got a new lot of the chairs I had been looking for. First I was sceptical whether to order on the internet as I couldn't check the quality myself and it was quite an investment for me. But Joost was answering all my questions, giving me background information and sending me a lot of photos to give me an impression of the condition of the chairs. Due to this high professionalism I finally decided to order the chairs and got them shipped to Austria a few days later, all in perfect condition with perfectly glued new shockmounts. I have to say that I love the chairs and I am happy whenever I look at them and see how beautiful they are. I often receive compliments from my friends and I recommend Joost to all of them. You can really notice he is passionate about the chairs and wants you to enjoy them as much as he enjoys them himself. He takes good care of the chairs, and knows a lot about them. When we were in doubt about a daring colour, he offered us to return or change the colour if we were not happy with it. This helped us to choose a colour we would not have dared otherwise, and we are very happy with it now!

When I wrote Joost and asked for a spare, he send 8 for free. That is what I call service!! Best recommendations from me.
