De geschiedenis van Othmar Decorations
In de zomer van 1973 reisde Harry Oude Weernink voor het eerst door Azië voor zijn werk als handelsagent en importeur. Naar Thailand voor teakhouten huishoudartikelen, Hong Kong voor metalen kandelaars en naar Nagoya voor porseleinen siervoorwerpen. Een bijzondere reis waar de basis werd gelegd voor zijn passie voor bloemisterij artikelen en kerstballen. Een passie die zich in de twintig jaar daarna steeds meer focuste op een héél bijzondere markt; decoratiemateriaal voor de bloemisterij branche.
En niet zonder succes! In 1997 startte hij Othmar Decorations B.V. en wist daarmee een prominente plek in te nemen als importeur en distributeur van decoratiemateriaal voor bloemisterij artikelen. De laatste jaren heeft Othmar zijn horizon enorm verbreed en zich uitgebreid naar de tuincentra, hobby/creatief en de overige gevestigde retail. Op dit moment is Othmar Decorations dan ook één van de meest vooraanstaande importeurs van Europa.
