★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kasteel Oudaen is een van de vele kastelen, landhuizen en buitenplaatsen die gelegen zijn aan de rivier de Vecht in de omgeving van Breukelen. Het kasteel is onstaan uit een 13e eeuwse woontoren, rond 1450 werd een tweede woontoren tegen de bestaande gebouwd. Het kasteel is tussen 1974 en 1984 gerestaureerd. Rond 1980 had het kasteel een heel moderne inrichting. Sinds ca 2000 is de inrichting weer meer passend bij het oude gebouw.
Oudaen Castle is one of the many castles, country houses and country estates located on the river Vecht in the vicinity of Breukelen. The castle originated from a 13th century residential tower, around 1450 a second residential tower was built against the existing one. The castle was restored between 1974 and 1984. Around 1980 the castle had a very modern interior. Since around 2000, the interior has been more in keeping with the old building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rijksmonument Ridderhofstad Oudaen is een zeer oud huis, waarschijnlijk gebouwd aan het eind van de 13e eeuw. Het ontkwam aan verwoesting door de Fransen in het rampjaar 1672-1673 omdat de bewoners katholiek waren. Het wordt particulier bewoond en is helaas niet voor publiek toegankelijk.
Rijksmonument Ridderhofstad Oudaen is a very old house, probably built at the end of the 13th century. It escaped devastation by the French in the disaster year 1672-1673 because the residents were Catholic. It is privately occupied and is unfortunately not open to the public.
