★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. very easy to find using GPS or our own eyes.
2. reading and FOLLOWING the instructions to cheaper parking in the web site works and is really amazingly cheap for commuters and tourists.
3. special return tickets can and should be bought inside the train station ( you need to go there anyway)
4. two stars because our car was broken into and the whole dashboard instruments were professionally stolen -> vacation over ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the most convenient and cheapest parking to visit Amsterdam. It's a little hard to find and there aren't many signs, but with google maps directions you'll get there. It's in a curve. Make sure that your last trip is from the center and scan your ticket when paying to get the 1€ a day rate. Two parking lots right next to the metro. 8 minutes and you're in the center of Amsterdam. All my guests park there.

Located next to Metro 52 entrance.
Open air parking but was safe/secure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a terrible place to park your car. Most of the time the sign at the entrance says FULL, when actually it's half empty. From the main road it also says there are places available, but when you arrive the sign says FULL.
I would not recommend this carpark. Very badly organised.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The parking itself is great but prices are misleading. They don't seem to communicate this anywhere at all, but you have to travel to the city centre by metro and upon coming back scan your OV card at the checkout machines in order to actually get a price of €1, if you don't it's actually really expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only problem that ive noticed once times a car break in where the window was smashed.
Plus that it's super hard in weekend and rush hours to find a spot.
Luckily they opened one nearby (boven+y)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to wait over 30 minutes before I could get into the parking area, the sign said it was full. However, when I did eventually get in it was more than half empty. What a terrible service. The Gemeente needs to improve the service at this P and R, Amsterdam Noord. Very bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice monitored outside parking lot, with the metro right next to it. 5 Minutes into the City center (direction Amsterdam zuid). If you use public transport and scan your train ticket at the end at the payment machine your parking price will automatically discount to 1€ because of the usage of the public transport system. Waiting in front of the entrance is possible but it usually takes 30 Minutes and you’re in, which is definitely worth it waiting.
