Nowadays no more free parking, that is no longer possible anywhere on Texel in the villages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gratis parkeren meteen aan het centrum. Direct aan de parkeerplaats ligt ook een supermarkt en vishal. Je loopt vanaf hier het centrum in waar je meteen aan je linkerkant een bakkertje tegenkom. 5 minuten verder loop je naar de haven. Volgens mij is hier altijd ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het oogt ook veilig want er zijn geen donkere, verscholen hoekjes of iets dergelijks.
Free parking right at the center. There is also a supermarket and fish hall directly at the parking lot. From here you walk into the center where you will immediately encounter a bakery on your left. 5 minutes further you walk to the harbor. I think there is always ample parking space here. It also looks safe because there are no dark, hidden corners or the like.
