The entrance for pedestrians, coming from the Pastoor Peterstraat was not indicated clearly. That needs attention.

β β β β β Albeit good value parking, short walk to centre; we however had a bad experience. Upon paying using the machines provided, our cards kept being denied. In fact I believe they dont accept cards from abroad. I tried about 5 different cards and each one were rejected. Had no problem using them at various outlets all over Europe.
We tried another machine and had the same problem. Tried pressing the help button and it didn't work. Eventually someone answered on one particular machine that it designed to allow you access to car park, but the help kept telling me to pass the through the door and gain access. I told her that we have problem paying and she kept saying pass through the door. My wife tried (different voice) same thing except the help hung up.
Finally, we had to ask a bystander to pay using their card (local presumably) and we paid them cash. And tipped them for getting us out of there.
Why is there no manned office (office empty) and if not why not have more helpful staff on the 'help'. I appreciate I don't speak Durch and that i can't expect the 'help service' to speak English but it came across as they weren't interested. We were literally stuck in the car park with a 1 year old.
Please make arrangements for others to pay by cash or enable your machines to accept foreign visa / MasterCard's. Rant over
