★ ★ ★ ★ ★ R.K kerk in Oud Geleen... in een prachtige oude schilderachtige omgeving staat de kerk, waarvan de toren al uit 1632 stamt. Fundamenten van het kerkje wat tegen de toren stond zijn terug te vinden in de kelder van de nieuwe kerk, die in de loop der eeuwen steeds uitbreiddet tot wat het nu is. Een grote mooie straatbeeld bepalend gebouw! Prachtig glas -in- lood en gebrandschilderde ramen, vernieuwd bij de laatste renovatie. Gemaakt door een glaskunstenaar uit Echt.
De kerk fungeert nog steeds als plaats waar Jezus Christus wordt aanbeden als de Heer van hemel en aarde.
R.K church in Oud Geleen... in a beautiful old picturesque setting is the church, whose tower dates back to 1632. Foundations of the church that stood against the tower can be found in the basement of the new church, which over the centuries continued to expand into what it is today. A great beautiful streetscape defining building! Beautiful stained glass and stained glass windows, renewed during the last renovation. Made by a glass artist from Echt.
The church still functions as a place where Jesus Christ is worshiped as the Lord of heaven and earth.
