★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deze zomer een prachtige Patton bbq gekocht via Wehkamp . Na een maand zaten er allemaal uitgebeten vlekken op de kap. Zelfs de letters Patton van de hoes zag je erin terug. Contact gehad met Wehkamp en uiteindelijk met Patton Nederland. Conclusie was volgens hun dat wij de hoes om de hete BBQ hadden gedaan! ,( yeah right, alsof ik mijn eigen spullen zou beschadigen)
Niets aan te doen, eigen schuld volgens Patton.
Ik heb aangegeven dat wij dat niet hebben gedaan... Ik heb zelfs aangeboden dat we ernaar willen laten kijken zodat het beoordeeld kon worden door iemand van Patton. Nee dat kon niet. Het was erin gebrand en daar is niets aan te doen.
Het gekke is dat de vlekken soms helemaal wegtrekken in de zon en na een regenbui zijn ze weer helemaal terug. Mijn conclusie is dat als het ingebrand zou zijn het ook niet meer kan wegtrekken! Maar de firma Patton neemt niet eens de moeite om dit nader te onderzoeken. Beetje jammer en kortzichtig voor een BBQ die nou niet heel goedkoop is. Overigens heb ik verhalen gelezen van mensen met precies hetzelfde probleem.
Fabrieks foutje??
Voor ons geen Patton meer.
 Bought a beautiful Patton BBQ this summer through Wehkamp. After a month there were all blown stains on the hood. You could even see the letters Patton from the cover in it. Had contact with Wehkamp and eventually with Patton Netherlands. They concluded that we had put the cover on the hot BBQ! , (yeah right, like I'd damage my own stuff)
Nothing you can do about it, your own fault according to Patton.
I indicated that we did not ... I even offered to have it looked at so it could be reviewed by someone from Patton. No that was not possible. It was burned in and nothing can be done about it.
The strange thing is that the stains sometimes disappear completely in the sun and after a rain shower they are completely back. My conclusion is that if it were burned in, it can no longer leave! But the Patton firm doesn't even bother to investigate this further. A bit unfortunate and shortsighted for a BBQ that is not very cheap. Incidentally, I have read stories from people with exactly the same problem.
Factory error ??
No more Patton for us.
