★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh yes i remeber this. It was a sunny day. We were sitting. We received food. It was intriguingly tasty. Then we went home. No one really knew why we were there, but it felt good. Very good. Thank you for your consideration.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top place next to the water, good friendly and carefull staff, good food and suberplocation to swim sunbad and have a good walk around the water. Only 20 minutes from amsterdam, if you want to escape the heat off Amsterdam this is the place to be

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to hang back after visiting Twiske with enjoyable views and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for snacks and lunch, even oatmilk cappuccinos and vegan ice cream. You can have a swim there too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really wanted to love this place! Beautiful setting on the water in Het Twiske nature area. But unfortunately not the best meal experience. Called ahead for a reservation but there was still confusion when we arrived. Had to speak to 3 different servers to get things straightened out and get seated. We had to wait a long time before ordering, even though it was not overly busy. I went for the 15€ Caesar salad, which sounded very nice with chicken, sardines, and an egg. But the chicken was cooked in a strange teriyaki-sweet chili style(?) and didn’t seem to belong in a Caesar at all. There were also very old pieces of lettuce that shouldn’t have ever been served. I pulled those to the side and later pointed it out to the server— she agreed they were rotten and said she’d let the chef know. But in the end they didn’t offer any apology or refund when the bill came. Overall kind of a weird meal? Was expecting more from such a stylish and well-located place.
