★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super fijne ontvangst. Heerlijk dat wij de motoren in de garage nabij mochten zetten (tegen betaling). Uitgebreid ontbijt met veel verse producten. Kleine ongemakken werden direct verholpen. Goed bed. Zeer aan te bevelen.
 Very nice reception. Great that we were allowed to put the motorbikes in the garage nearby (for a fee). Extensive breakfast with many fresh products. Minor inconveniences were rectified immediately. Good bed. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ + Vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastheer waarbij we uitleg kregen over het pension en hoelaat we waar terecht konden het rook er heerlijk bij binnenkomst. De kamer die wij hadden gekregen had een eigen badkamer. De kamer zelf was heel huiselijk ingericht, bijna alsof je bij een familielid op bezoek was. Er was een waterkokertje, ventilator en tv in de kamer aanwezig. De badkamer bij deze kamer was erg ruim en heeft een erg prettige douche. 's ochtends kon je tussen 08.30 en 10.00 plaatsnemen voor het ontbijt. Dit ontbijt bestond uit allerhande huisgemaakte vlaaitjes en andere lekkernijen, streekproducten, broodjes, ei, zoet beleg als jam en hazelnotenpasta, yoghurt en fruit. Ook was er vers sinaasappelsap, thee en koffie. Je kan goed merken dat er echt hun best op is gedaan om een uniek ontbijt klaar te zetten voor de gasten, fantastisch! Zowel de gastheer als de gastvrouw erg vriendelijke mensen die hart hebben voor wat ze doen. De locatie van dit pension is overigens perfect, je hebt zicht op de kasteelruïne en bijna recht tegenover het pension zit de fluweelengrot. Je bent binnen 2 minuten lopen in het centrum van Valkenburg. Maastricht is vanaf hier ook goed te bereiken met de auto (15 minuutjes) en het OV. Parkeren is ook mogelijk bij deze accomodatie als je achterom rijdt, dit heeft de gastheer ons laten zien en scheelt erg in de parkeerkosten. Wij zouden dit pension absoluut aanraden als je in Valkenburg vakantie houdt of een paar daagjes verblijft.

Zelf niet erg aanstoot aan genomen, maar het pension is redelijk gehorig (muziek van de buren, andere gasten die de trap op/af lopen of dichtslaande deuren)
+ Kindly received by the host where we were given an explanation about the guest house and what time we could go where it smelled wonderful upon entering. The room we were given had a private bathroom. The room itself was very homely, almost as if you were visiting a relative. There was a kettle, fan and TV in the room. The bathroom in this room was very spacious and has a very nice shower. in the morning you could take a seat for breakfast between 08.30 and 10.00. This breakfast consisted of all kinds of homemade pies and other delicacies, regional products, rolls, eggs, sweet spreads such as jam and hazelnut spread, yogurt and fruit. There was also fresh orange juice, tea and coffee. You can clearly see that they really did their best to prepare a unique breakfast for the guests, fantastic! Both the host and the hostess are very friendly people who have a heart for what they do. The location of this guest house is also perfect, you have a view of the castle ruins and the velvet cave is almost right in front of the guest house. You are within 2 minutes walk in the center of Valkenburg. Maastricht is also easily accessible by car (15 minutes) and public transport. Parking is also possible at this accommodation if you drive around the back, the host showed us this and saves a lot in parking costs. We would absolutely recommend this guest house if you are on holiday in Valkenburg or are staying for a few days.
- Shower curtain in the bathroom instead of, for example, a glass door.
Not very offended myself, but the guest house is quite noisy (music from the neighbors, other guests walking up/down the stairs or slamming doors)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an amazing and wonderful stay. Marjolein is an wonderful host. It was very nice speaking to her. She even allowed to park the car for couple of more hours after the checkout time. The options for the breakfast are very high. Located very close to the stone coal mijn and castle ruins.
