A MESSAGE FROM SAMEER SUNEJA,

We are all deeply saddened by the ongoing aggression in Ukraine. Our top priority remains the safety of our employees, their families and our business partners in the region.
We continue to check daily on our colleagues in Ukraine. Thankfully, we are able to confirm that all employees and their families are safe. Despite any disruption to business in Ukraine, we are ensuring that our colleagues there receive their salaries, we have also provided emergency cash and continue to support them further.
To offer further aid, Perfetti Van Melle Group is donating €2million to the International Federation of the Red Cross to assist with their ongoing efforts to provide support for victims, refugees, families and especially children. This donation is complemented by efforts on the part of local PVM business units to provide support to countries receiving refugees and by individual employee donations. Some of our colleagues are also personally welcoming Ukrainian refugees into their homes.
We have halted promotions, advertising and any new investments in Russia. At this time, we continue only basic operations, maintaining the employment of our 1,500 colleagues there and enabling them to provide for their families, as we do in each country where we operate.
This is an uncertain and rapidly evolving situation. We will continue to assess daily and will consider any further actions as we deem necessary.
We know that you join us in keeping the innocent victims of these aggressive acts in our hearts as we all hope for the restoration of peace in the region.
