Ze vraagt hoe het met je gaat, wat je wensen zijn en ze legt gedetailleerd uit hoe de massage zal verlopen. De massage was heerlijk: bijna 1,5 uur word je door Esther onder handen genomen. Zij combineert verschillende massage-technieken, zodat zij enerzijds met de juiste druk werkt aan de pijn in mijn onderrug en schouders en anderzijds - met zachte hand - een heerlijke ontspanning teweeg brengt. Hoewel ik voor de eerste keer bij Esther was voor een massage, viel ik een paar keer in slaap. Dat is voor mij altijd hét teken van ontspanning. Nu, een halve dag later, geniet ik nog steeds na. Elke sessie begint met een gesprekje bij een kopje thee, waarbij ze oprecht geïnteresseerd is in wie je bent en hoe het met je gaat. Dan vraagt ze wat ze voor je kan betekenen en daarmee gaat ze aan de slag, terwijl ze regelmatig feedback vraagt. Maar ze geeft je ook wat je nodig hebt zonder dat je het vraagt: ze voelt het gewoon aan en past haar behandeling daar op aan. In elk geval kom ik er heerlijk ontspannen van terug en kijk ik alweer uit naar de volgende keer! I come to Esther for a relaxation massage.
