Bij een bezoek aan het pinetum Blijdenstein dacht Everhard Everts: “Dat wil ik ook!” en hij begon in 1953 een coniferencollectie aan te leggen. Alle bomen zijn voorzien van een naambordje met daarop de wetenschappelijke naam, de Nederlandse naam en vaak het land van herkomst. Nu beheert een stichting het pinetum. Het bestuur bestaat uit coniferendeskundigen en leden van de familie Everts.

Dan loop 10 minuten.
Het is nogal groot. Mooie plaats. Maar beter daarheen op een zonnige dag.
 Parking: Parking Pinetum
Then walk 10 minutes.
It's quite big. Beautiful place. But better go there on a sunny day.
