Früher stand unmittelbar daneben die katholische St. Pauls Kirche. Die beiden Kirchen teilten sich den Turm. Auch heute noch gehört der Turm der katholischen Kirche, obwohl diese inzwischen etwas entfernt liegt. Er wird aber ausschließlich von der protestantischen Kirche genutzt. Leider konnte man nicht nach drinnen. Aber Bilder im Internet zeigen, dass der Innenraum sehr schlicht, wie in protestantischen Kirchen üblich, gestaltet ist. Früh schon gelebte Euregio und Ökumene.
