★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Natuurgebied Plantloon wordt soms als los natuurgebied aangeduid, maar wordt vaak ook onder de Loonse en Drunese Duinen gerekend.
Mooie locatie om te wandelen en een stukje geschiedenis te vertellen over Plantloon.
Het Gebied is voornamelijk bekend van de langgerekte waterplas 'Galgenwiel' wat een historische grens tussen het rechtsgebied van Venloon en Waalwijk aanduiden.
Door Venloon werd er een galg geplaatst om aan te duiden dat het gebied onder Loons gezag viel. Zodoende kreeg de waterplas 'Galgenwiel' als naam toegewezen. Later werd er een restaurant-café geopend wat dezelfde naam kreeg.
Nature reserve Plant wages are sometimes referred to as separate natural areas, but are often also counted among the Loonse and Drunse Duinen.
Nice location for walking and a bit of history to tell about Plantloon.
The area is mainly known for the elongated lake 'Galgenwiel' which indicates a historical boundary between the jurisdiction of Venloon and Waalwijk.
A gallows was placed by Venloon to indicate that the area was under the authority of Loons. In this way, the pond 'Galgenwiel' was assigned as a name. Later a restaurant-café was opened which got the same name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een prachtig gebied! Met dat water met idyllisch bruggetje,goed begaanbare paden, duidelijke bewegwijzering en schone en afvalvrije natuur. Mensen uit Waalwijk hebben maar geluk met zo'n mooie plek om te wandelen, fietsen en van rustige natuur te genieten. Ook heel fijn is het lange losloop pad voor de honden.
( Jammer dat de honden eigenaren/ honden belasting betalers uit Waspik zoiets moois niet hebben ?)
What a beautiful area! With that water with an idyllic bridge, easily accessible paths, clear signage and clean and waste-free nature. People from Waalwijk are lucky with such a beautiful place to walk, cycle and enjoy peaceful nature. Also very nice is the long run-off path for the dogs.
(Too bad that the dog owners / dog tax payers from Waspik don't have such a beautiful thing ?)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig wandelgebied. Volgens mij minder bekend, relatief rustig. Mooie lange paden, wat idyllische boerderijtjes, en aan het eind van de wandeling met rode paaltjes een schitterend deel met water en een loopbrug.
Beautiful walking area. Less known to me, relatively quiet. Beautiful long paths, some idyllic farmhouses, and at the end of the walk with red posts a beautiful part with water and a footbridge.
