We werken in teams die allemaal hun eigen aandachtsvelden en expertise hebben. Vraaggericht werken SWB werkt vraaggericht. Dat wil zeggen dat ons aanbod zoveel mogelijk is afgestemd op vragen en behoeften van individuele en groepen burgers. Het grote en gevarieerde aanbod van laagdrempelige activiteiten vormt de basis van ons werk. Vaak is het de eerste kennismaking van een burger met SWB, en omgekeerd. Elke inwoner binnen de gemeente kan in dit aanbod iets halen of brengen. Vooral het ‘brengen’ gaan we de komende jaren steeds nadrukkelijker stimuleren. Want mensen hebben veel meer ideeën, talenten en mogelijkheden dan ze van elkaar – en soms van zichzelf - weten. SWB wil graag helpen om die kwaliteiten op te sporen, verder te ontwikkelen en in te zetten voor betrokkenen zelf én voor de samenleving. Veel vrijwilligers SWB werkt met een handvol betaalde krachten. Het overgrote deel van onze medewerkers wordt gevormd door vrijwilligers. Op dit moment zijn dat er bijna 300! Zij dragen in belangrijke mate mee aan de ontwikkeling, uitvoering en resultaten van het werk. SWB is a broad welfare organization active in the areas of housing, care, welfare and income. We work in teams that all have their own focus areas and expertise. Working in a demand-oriented manner SWB has a demand-oriented approach. This means that our offer is tailored as much as possible to the demands and needs of individual and groups of citizens. The large and varied range of accessible activities forms the basis of our work. It is often the first acquaintance of a citizen with SWB, and vice versa. Every resident in the municipality can get or bring something in this offer. In particular, we are going to encourage the 'bringing' more and more in the coming years. Because people have far more ideas, talents and possibilities than they know about each other - and sometimes about themselves. SWB would like to help to detect, further develop and deploy those qualities for those involved and for society. Many volunteers SWB works with a handful of paid employees. The vast majority of our employees are volunteers. At the moment there are almost 300! They contribute significantly to the development, implementation and results of the work.
