About Ploegmakers Cultuurtechniek B.V.
Ploegmakers is lid van gebiedscoöperatie Brainport Park, die werkt aan duurzame gebiedsontwikkeling. Samen plantten we 2,5 ha Miscanthus in het buitengebied van Eindhoven, om te onderzoeken hoe dit product ingezet kan worden. Met de gemeente Eindhoven onderzochten we van 2014 tot 2018 of Miscanthus geschikt is als mulchlaag tegen onkruid en uitdroging. In net aangeplante plantsoenen in de stad brachten we een mulchlaag van Miscanthus aan op de bodem, tussen de jonge perkplanten.
