Dus, wat is poké? Een poké bowl (uitgesproken als pokay) is een traditioneel Hawaiiaans gerecht, oorspronkelijk bestaande uit sushirijst, rauwe vis en verschillende toppings geserveerd in een kom. Je zou het eigenlijk kunnen omschrijven als sushi in een kom. Maak je geen zorgen als je geen fan bent van rauwe vis. Er zijn genoeg andere opties waar je uit kunt kiezen.

L	Linda Leestemaker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to Poké Perfect a couple of times, although for some reason it always takes me a bit to find their location in Utrecht. Must be my lack of sense of direction... I enjoy their pokebowls, but it's interesting that the amount of salmon used in the dish seems to depend on the person making the bowl resulting in sometimes getting a lot (lucky me!) and the next time getting just a couple of slices (little bit unlucky me, but the bowl is still good so you won't hear me complain about it). As for the sauces, it seems that the only one I don't find spicy is the sesame based one which is a bit of a bummer since you really have to be in the mood for such a strong flavour. My friend felt the spicyness of his dish to be a bit of a kick, resulting in it being a bit hard to finish his bowl but in the end he really did enjoy it. We will be back for more because the location is just as nice as the food, just far away enough from the city center to be a bit more cozy and yet also close enough to still feel the vibrance of Utrecht. When the sun is out, the large windows are extremely nice to just sit and enjoy your food.

The toppings are generous and the fish and vegetables are fresh. The rice is cooked well. The Siracha Mayo + some soy sauce and wasabi is a great combo! However, I’ve ordered from here a few times and I will admit it has been better on some days than the others. Wasabi had a weird watery consistency the last time I’ve ordered and it would be nice if the wasabi and pickled ginger was complimentary and not a final touch. Or if I could pay more for the additional final touches. Vegan brownie is also very tasty! Weekend orders can take a bit long so plan ahead a little!

The miso happy, did make me happy for a bit, but then I realized that you forgot the chopsticks and saus that I had payed extra for and did not get. So because you explicitly ask in a haridwritten note to lease a review.. here it is! And a picture of me eating the pokebowls in a kimono with forks. I feel like a monster ?
