Een avondje POPO wordt gekenmerkt door de uitbundige en levendige sfeer. POPO is vernoemd naar de vulkaan Popocatepetl bij Mexico City. Het betekent letterlijk ‘daar waar de aarde heet wordt’.

POPO staat bekend om haar enthousiaste bediening, goede cocktails en heerlijke Mexicaanse gerechten. Alles wordt dagelijks vers en met liefde bereid.

Our group had some difficult food restrictions to deal with, but the staff were all aware and explained what could be eaten, what could possibly be eaten (e.g. things fried in the same oil), and what should definitely be avoided. Going to restaurants can be hard for us because of the restrictions, but the staff here made it easy. We all had meals that we thoroughly enjoyed. I agree with some other reviews--the food is not exactly like real Mexican food, but that doesn't mean it isn't good! We will likely go back.

Also I expected a little bit more from the vegetarian burger as it tasted as a lot of beans (with some salt). Moreover pretty heavy on the stomach so bring a good appetite. The free homemade tortilla chips on arrival are nicely done. Also I agree with others on the room temperature, its to Hot inside.

Mexican grill was worth having, an assortment of meat - steak skewers, mini burger, ribs, chicken wings, corn, shrimp with salad & sides. food was well seasoned, cooked perfectly, meat was tender. will definitely come back! staff was helpful and friendly :) will come back.

I think food could’ve been better. I would expect a €16 burrito to be much bigger than it was here. The nice thing about burrito was that it was filled with meat, but I expected they would add more rice, beans and sauces on top of that meat.
