Edited: Physicians are kind, but when making appointment or reporting admission, sometime we may encounter a bit rudeness from some receptionist, not all. Original: Punctuality is not 'Dutch' at all. Appointment via website or app are always rejected. There is no without-appointment morning visit for small complaints. You are sick today and the earliest available visit is in 5 days.

First time in my life I've had trouble getting my blood drawn and was sent to a hospital. First time in my life someone has scheduled the physical I requested as an appointment with a psychologist. Try to stay away if you can.

I really recommend this place. They were very nice to me when I came and the doctor was very competent. She was able to explain what I had and what treatment I needed. It was an overall great experience. The only minus was that it took a bit of time to get the prescription because they are usually quite booked. But as well the apothecary was incompetent because they didn't check their fax. Except that minor inconvenience it was great. A heads up for all international students. Please don't expect for every minor inconvenience (minor cold, infection or body part hurting) to get meds. For those kinds of situations buy your meds from the supermarket, kruidvat or other.. In the Netherlands they wont give you meds unless you actually need it. If you are going to live here for a while get used to the Dutch mentality. Setting up appointments. Be strict when you set an appointment don't be late the doctors are quite busy and they wont wait for you. Same goes for the calls they set up an appointment for you when to call. Last but not least. Please read the provided information on the website it doesn't take more than 10 minutes. Haft the the bad reviews I read could have been solved if those people actually read the information provided or if they were on time. Please don't be rude to the doctors they are doing the best they can in the current pandemic put yourself in their shoes.

First and foremost: DON'T REGISTER HERE NO MATTER WHAT I came to this place as a student to get a foot fungal problem solved, they recommended some ointments and that was that. After a while, my problem persisted so I decided to make another appointment. When I called them, they told me that they were very busy and that they could do a diagnosis through picture via email, so I sent them a photo of the infection, and they told me that they would get back to me "some time today". Well, obviously I didn't have absolutely nothing to do that day, so when I went to take a quick 10 minute shower, I missed their call. I came out, saw the missed call for 10 minutes, and called them back asking if they had some results to share. Surprisingly, they told me that I SHOULD HAVE been there when the call happened, and that I'll need to make a new appointment, this time in person, for them to help. Strange, I hadn't realised that it was a strict time set appointment since I wasn't told explicitly so, but okay, so I made a new appointment. The following day, my phone dies and I did not have an alarm to wake me up in time. By the time I was up I was about 10 minutes late to my appointment. I gave them a call, and the woman who picks up tells me that I'm late, berates me for wasting the doctor's precious time (to which I agree to, I should not have been late) but then suddenly tells me that this is not the first time that I've "wasted their time", and that the "telephone appointment" yesterday was also missed. After this, she basically refused to make an appointment with me, told me to try some other ointments and hung up. This place is riddled with incompetent workers who have horrible communication skills, and berates and treats customers like they are below the workers. I highly suggest anyone who comes to study at the University of Twente to register at a GP somewhere else. If this isn't enough, they also don't read emails (or are unable to, not sure which is more likely). I sent them a lengthy email describing my history with them, how uncomfortable I feel about appointments with them, but also about my persisting problem and how I'd like to get it solved. They sent an automatic (I think) reply, thanking me for my email, and forcing me to make an appointment with them tomorrow by phone. What. A. Joke. Literally 0 care for patients what so ever. tl;dr: This establishment has some of the worst healthcare staff that I have ever witnessed in my 26 years of walking this earth. I'm shocked at how low the standards have been set here in a first world country.

went there for my eye problems. The turkish/arabic doctor who sits there is in a good mood (probably due to his high salary) and is friendly but is very incompetent and when I walked in and told him about my complains he did not take it seriously and laughed. He also did not know about a very well-known natural remedy that I took at that time to decrease my pain. He had to look it up on his phone and based on that he gave me an advise not to take it. But taking that natural medicine seemed to be the only thing that actually worked for my complaints at that time. What kind of organization is this campus doctor complex ??? Also another day I walked in for complaints for my back and there was a dutch doctor who also did not seem to be competent. He simply prescribed pain killers and that is it. I advise you not to go to the doctors there because they are in my opinion pretty bad and I cannot explain why there being employed there. The university complex employs people with poor judgement and no integrity and low-value morals in my opinion. Definitely not recommended.

If I could have give less than 1 star I would have done it. Dr Jansen just told me that he cannot give a referral for a blood check (something that I do every year for self assurance) because people of 21 years old do not have any medical problems and that is the law in the Netherlands. Can you imagine how much incompetence there is at this clinic?

For me, I think the doctor and the clinic are fine. The phone - assistants are also nice. This can be a good choice for students and people who live in the campus.

I have a very positive experience. The GPs (Dr. Jacob Ilgun and Dr. Ndege) and the other doctors put additional effort to help me and I was sent to the needed medical checks, consultations and treatments. The assistants were also very supportive and professional. I am thankful to the team at this praktijk!
