The first restaurant run by the Zaccariello Brothers (Luca & Ennio), born from a desire to import traditional Italian dishes taught by their grandmother Lilina to Hilversum, interpreting them with a touch of creativity.
Every taste brings you back to your childhood, to the most authentic memories of the family kitchen, that stimulates the heart of the palate.
Primo has an elegant and vintage atmosphere, where you can enjoy the recipes of love and happiness, such as the lasagna, the meatballs with tomato sauce, the family pizza recipe and our delicious tiramisù.
The wine cellar is also excellent, designed to "drink well without spending a fortune".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners of this place are from Naples and yet can't cook pizza. My son - who's never turned down a pizza in 10 years on this planet - refused to eat their pizza after the first couple of slices. That should tell you everything you know about this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ordered spaghetti bolognese, pastiera napoletana, and cannolo siciliano. tasted great! but i missed my ice cream for my pastiera :( they made up for it with a free santa hat and extra cookies (i think for everyone that orders from them during the holidays)!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Italian restaurant with very polite and friendly service. The bruschetta were really good. Main dishes somewhat underwhelming. They serve a unique tiramisu with white chocolade that I can’t recommend enough. 5 stars if the main dishes would be a bit more tasty and in size.

Lack of taste and presentation.
It was my second time there. No third for me.

I was at Primo Restaurant and when i entry i saw the best wines from Sicily for me was a surprise becouse I am Sicilian and the quality of wines was excellent ...the owner was very kind with me and offered to me a delicious entree. I ordered a Lasagna that was amazing like my grandmother prepared to me ....and also the dessert Cannolo was so tasted like in Sicily .
I am very happy to know this cozy Restaurant

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful place to be right in the heart of the city center lovely staff welcome me and my family inside gave us a nice table make us feel at home, very friendly with kids. Price was super ok for the lovely typical Italian food. And as a Italian I can say I really eat quality food for the perfect price. And the wines they offer are absolutely fantastic. I recommend to anyone passing by hilversun centrum stop by there enjoy a nice glass of Italian top wine and good food made by proper Italian chef!!! We had amazing time! Be back for sure.
