★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are done with Shopping or seeing the numerous attractions in Leeuwarden, Prinspark is the best place to be. I enjoyed the lush green lawns and the adjacent views of the river and various fauna.
The best time to visit from my vantage point is in Summer, the spectacular colour burst is priceless.
I also found friendly personell within and around the park. The atmosphere within the park is also quiet.
I think it is because of the numerous boat owners that have their boats by the river in the park. I will to say that the boats also add a flair to the park.
Lastly, the park is also barrier free, which means people on wheelchairs can also access it. I am adding a few pictures.
