After a professional check, with all sorts of high tech tools, you get to hear what needs to be done to fix it and if you are OK with how much it will cost. I recommend you visit this repair center to fix your gaming console and not fiddle with the console yourself. The things you will need and time you will spend will cost more than what it will cost you here. They cleanup the console the proper way from inside dust (without asking), they use the best thermal paste for the heat sink and the best quality solder and flux for the reball. The console will get a new life counter. In my case they always had a solution to my PS3 problem and I was always helped to meet 100% satisfaction. I saw all types of gaming consoles there, so just call and ask if your console can be repaired.

The console was completely taken apart, thoroughly cleaned, and provided with new cooling paste. The guy clearly had done it many times before, and knew what he was doing. My PS3 works great again. If you have a problem with your console, I definitely recommend contacting him.
