Lekker uit eten voor een vaste prijs

Proeflokaal Bregje staat voor lekker én betaalbaar eten. De heerlijkste gerechten, met zorg samengesteld en vergezeld door een brede selectie bieren en wijnen. Alles voor een goede prijs. Op maandag, dinsdag, woensdag en donderdag eet je drie gangen voor €17,50. De rest van de week voor €19,50. Waarom zou je zelf nog koken?

Seats are comfy and the overall look and feel of the restaurant is quite cozy, despite the place itself being just one large room. Definitely a recommendation!

On the other hand they seem to have to have severe problems serving food warm. The first time I thought it was a fluke and they handled it quite gracefully (taking the food back, replacing the full course and a round of drinks). But we haven't been back until now, and it happened again. Half of the assorted meats platters are room temperature. The place isn't particularly busy. It seems like a structural problem... On other fronts, the chicken is a bit overcooked, the burger was decent.

Go for the ‘wafel’ I’d say. When you decide to go there, say hi to Lola for us. She arranged everything efficiently and in a very friendly way. If possible, choose the outdoor seating. Inside is tidy, cosy and spacey as well. But from the terrace you’ll be able to enjoy the village without being too close to the traffic. Great place!
