★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first glance, the menu looked interesting. The food greatly exceeded the high expectations already set by the menu.
Even the oh-so-standard for Dutch eetcafés Satay dish was freshly prepared, all the way down to the side of indonesian pickled cabbage. (I’ve only eaten it freshly prepared a few times in my whole life!)
The location is equally lovely, with a great view over the water from within a charming building.
I might have loved to give the dessert an equally enthusiastic review, but after failing to be noticed by the staff for over 15 minutes, we paid at the counter and left instead. As some of the staff seemed a bit inexperienced, this particular issue may well disappear over time.

I had the steak with mushrooms and delicious house made fries.
The steak was perfectly raw on the inside like I ordered.
Everything is very reasonably priced.
Also to finish up the toilets where super neat and clean.
So 5 out of 5 stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old but nice enviorenment. Ladies Gin drink had very little alcohol and too much ice. Beer was very very good. Smells bit dirty inside. Music and dance from 10pm was nice. Corona checked in the front. Food was also very tasty.
