 In Ravenvennen you can go for a wonderful walk or hike. A highlight is the Witte Berg, the highest sand dune in the Maasduinen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abwechslungsreiche Heidelandschaft mit dem typischen Sandboden und Biotopen, wie öfter in der Grenzregion auf holländischer Seite anzutreffen. Wer es noch nicht kennt - bis rund 3/4 Std. Anfahrt aus dem Umkreis lohnt sich.
Varied heathland with the typical sandy soil and biotopes, as often found in the border region on the Dutch side. If you don't know it yet - it is worth a 3/4 hour drive from the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooie wandelingen naar de ravenvennen zijn er uitgezet vanuit de parkeerplaats aan de rand van het industriegebied van Arcen. We liepen de route in augustus 2018 en veel van de vennen stonden droog of bijna droog. Wel rustgevend met de schaapjes op de achtergrond
Beautiful walks to the raven fens are plotted from the parking lot on the edge of the industrial area of Arcen. We walked the route in August 2018 and many of the pools were dry or nearly dry. Peaceful with the sheep in the background
