De Bijland ligt dichtbij een splitsing van belangrijke rivieren: Rijn, Waal en de IJssel. Door de open verbinding met de Rijn is de Bijland makkelijk te bereiken (km paal 864). Dankzij deze ligging is De Bijland bij uitstek geschikt als uitvalsbasis of etappeplaats voor tochten over Nederlandse wateren.
Ons park ligt aan het water van de Bijland. Er zijn voldoende goede faciliteiten. De plaatsen zijn allemaal ruim opgezet en het park is het gehele jaar geopend.

Als ich mit meinen Kumpels ankam wies man uns ab da wir keine Reservierung hatten! Saftladen!
I asked weeks in advance if I needed a reservation for a night's camping (I was told no!).
When I arrived with my buddies we were turned away as we didn't have a reservation! juice shop!
