W	Willem Zuidgeest on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helaas verblijft mijn moeder daar tijdelijk. Er mag maar 1x per week bezoek max 2 personen. De kamer is vies er wordt niet behoorlijk schoongemaakt. Ook de badkamer/wc is in lange tijd niet goed schoongemaakt. De receptioniste is ronduit onbeschoft en heeft nog nooit van omgangsnormen gehoord. Ik voel mij machteloos en vind dat Vreugdehof meer weg heeft van een gevangenis dan van een verzorghuis. Als je een keus hebt ....niet hierheen Unfortunately my mother is staying there temporarily. A maximum of 2 people is allowed only 1x per week. The room is dirty there is not proper cleaning. The bathroom / toilet has not been properly cleaned for a long time. The receptionist is downright rude and has never heard of manners. I feel helpless and think that Vreugdhof is more like a prison than a care home. If you have a choice ... don't go here

S	Sander Busser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier wil je niet wezen als je daadwerkelijk moet revalideren. Je bent puur afhankelijk van of er toevallig een keer een fijn iemand werkt, grootste deel van de tijd ben je overgeleverd aan mensen die medicatiefouten maken en die zeggen dat iemand je komt helpen waarna er niemand verschijnt. Mijn moeder lag hier en ik ken haar als een krachtig, onafhankelijk en optimistisch mens maar voor het eerst was ze echt afhankelijk en ze kwijnde hier weg en vond het er allesbehalve prettig. Ze was constant misselijk van haar medicatie en kon vrijwel niks eten. In plaats van dat er creatief nagedacht werd kon zij kiezen uit opgewarmde drab van een groothandel of yoghurt. Dus at ze maar yoghurt, elke dag. Er zijn heus mensen die er hun best deden, die zag ik echt, maar het overgrote deel lijkt incompetent en bezig met andere zaken dan verzorgen. Erg jammer. We zijn enkelen dankbaar maar de boosheid en teleurstelling overheerst. Was er iets positiefs? Het was er erg schoon en de artsen waren vakkundig en vriendelijk. You don't want to be here if you actually have to rehabilitate. You are purely dependent on whether a nice person happens to work once, most of the time you are at the mercy of people who make medication errors and who say that someone will come to help you after which no one appears. My mother lay here and I know her as a strong, independent and optimistic person but for the first time she was really dependent and she languished here and found it anything but pleasant. She was constantly nauseous from her medication and could hardly eat anything. Instead of thinking creatively, she could choose from heated sludge from a wholesaler or yogurt. So she ate yogurt every day. There are indeed people who did their best, I really saw them, but the vast majority seem incompetent and busy with other things than caring. Pity. We are grateful to a few, but anger and disappointment dominate. Was there anything positive? It was very clean and the doctors were professional and friendly.
A	Anne Wijnands on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uit betrouwbare bron verneem ik meer dan eens dat cliënten hier mensonwaardig worden behandeld. Verzorging is hier ver te zoeken. I have heard more than once from a reliable source that clients are treated inhumanely here. Care is hard to find here.

M	M. v. Gulik (MvGulik) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Van wat ik van iemand hoor, die daar naar toe is gedelegeerd voor revalidatie (omdat de rest allemaal vol zaten. Dank je wel OLVG), Zit het wel goed met dat 3.x cijfer. Het cijfer dat op de zorgkaartnederland staat is dus schromelijk overdreven hoog (maar dat is natuurlijk geen verrassing). En anderen ouderen die met deze instantie te maken hebben gehad, schijnen er net zo over te denken. Waarom dit soort instantie niet worden aangepakt mag Joost weten. Iemand anders die het natuurlijk ook wel weet is meneer "Efficiëntie & Economie" Rutte. --- Om maar eens wat te noemen. - Missende medicijnen: Is natuurlijk de patiënt zijn enigen schuld (of patiënt liegt natuurlijk), want "de staf maakt geen fouten met medicijnen!". - Uitkafferen van patiënten als die iets doen was het dienst doende personeel niet bevalt. - En natuurlijk lager in rangorde personeel dat niks durft buiten hun opgedragen functionaliteit. (Maar dus ook niet aan de bel trekt. en daarbij dus een onderdeel van het (standaard, in mijn ogen) probleem is.) (Maar ja. Klokkenluider zijn in klein Nederland is natuurlijk niet iets waar je lichtzinnig over moet denken. Omdat die meestal meteen in de problemen komen daardoor. Op paper vind Nederland het "natuurlijk" "belangrijk" dat ze er zijn ... in de praktijk ligt dat 'natuurlijk' ... net even anders.) From what I hear from someone who has been delegated there for rehab (because the rest were all full. Thank you OLVG), the 3.x figure is fine. The figure on the Dutch healthcare card is therefore grossly exaggerated (but that is of course no surprise). And other elderly people who have dealt with this instance seem to feel the same way. Joost should know why this type of organization is not being tackled. Someone else who also knows, of course, is Mr. "Efficiency & Economy" Rutte. --- Just to name a few. - Missing medicines: Of course it is the patient's only fault (or patient is lying of course), because "the staff don't make mistakes with medicines!". - Calling out patients when they do something that the staff on duty do not like. - And of course lower ranking staff who dare nothing outside of their assigned functionality. (But therefore also not ringing the bell. And thus is part of the (standard, in my view) problem.) (But yes. Being a whistleblower in a small Netherlands is of course not something to be taken lightly. Because they usually immediately get into trouble as a result. On paper, the Netherlands finds it "natural" "important" that they are there ... in the in practice it is 'natural' ... slightly different.)
