★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helaas wil men een historisch gebouw, het voormalig hoofdkwatier van onze bevrijders, afbreken. Dit gebouw komt nooit meer terug en is daarna voor altijd verloren voor de generaties na ons. De economische en historische waarde kun je van zo n gebouw moeilijk meten, maar is er wel. Daarnaast is het een schoffering van alle nabestaanden en militairen betrokken bij market garden. Erg kortzichtig.
Unfortunately, they want to demolish a historic building, the former headquarters of our liberators. This building never comes back and is then lost forever for generations after us. It is difficult to measure the economic and historical value of such a building, but it is there. In addition, it is a sacrifice of all relatives and soldiers involved in market garden. Very short-sighted.
