β β β β β Friendly, easy to reach and mainly ready to help unlike most of the agencies. I rented an apartment in Delft with them. Their contract is translated by an official translator to English which is very handy for non-Dutch speaking people ;-) I can only recommend!

β β β β β Finding a place to live in Rotterdam with the help of rent an apartment was a simple, easy and pleasant process. Both Elpida and Bauke were very helpful and nice in the process of finding, viewing and finally renting my dream home. There were no problems with picking up the keys a couple of days later than previously scheduled and they even recommended us a solid home insurance agency. I highly recommend their service to anyone who is looking to rent an apartment in Rotterdam. Even though sadly their website is not available in English, the staff speaks English perfectly and there was no problem with translating all contract documents.

β β β β β I don't know why there is a 1 star review, but for me it's definitely a 5!
It was really simple and easy (maybe also lucky, but i don't care).
I saw the advertisement and sent an email to ask for more details.
They replied back and asked for our details.
Then they scheduled me for the viewing.
After the viewing we sent required documents.
The next day we got the apartment.
No hidden fees, they told me everything before i signed the contract.
Of course we need to pay for their service, but what do you expect?
if you don't have the money then it's not their problem.
P.S. I will update this review once the contract is over (in 2 years).

β β β β β Will try to steal your money (first by asking for upfront payment which is not allowed - and you can claim back) and then by pretending you messed up the apartment (like blaming you for hanging this up that the landlord had put up!)

β β β β β In the difficult experience that is finding an apartment in Rotterdam, Rent an Apartment was the only rental agency that was legitimately helpful and responsive. It was easy to schedule viewings, they were nice and had great customer service (which should be a given for any rental agency, but really isn't at all) and were very accommodating once I found a place to rent. Would recommend going with them over most other Rotterdam rental agencies!
