Had to walk inside with empty plates myself to get my next coarse....food itself was reasonable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Set somewhat hidden away, stop here for dependable cooking of a variety of classic dishes in a pleasant, somewhat formal atmosphere. There's plenty of outside seating with views over water and a traditionally decorated, comfortable dining room. They can cater for kids too and the service is understanding, friendly, and correct.

But having arrived first on an empty terrace and getting our plates as the last ones (and only ones with a child) after eight other tables had arrived and ordered... wasn't the 5 star experience I'd hoped for. I'm grateful I've got a very patient 3 y/o. Beautiful spot though
