★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently opened, this spot brings a modern and fun place to go to with the kids. The playground is challenging for every age group. The restaurant itself has a nice spacious layout with a big fireplace. And the view is unique since it’s besides the old air base.
The menu is quite pricey, especially since the quality is so-so. A big bun with only one small hotdog and no garnish. A bisque that’s not creamy. A risitto that’s still hard on the inside. And a good portioned bavette but with overcooked vegetables.
A nice place for a lazy afternoon with the kids. It’s allowed to bring your own food and drinks. But have a cold beer with great bitterballen at the restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a stroll outdoors and get active on the old airplane runway or the surrounding forest and fields. Restaurant has a big playground for little and small kids. Limited parking and it gets very busy on beautiful days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice clear view of the National Military Museum and the old airfield. Big modern playground for the kids. Clean bathrooms. Friendly service and tastefull dishes. I will be coming back here for sure. I'd say reservations are recommended.
