Qua gebouw en inrichting is het inderdaad wat vergane glorie, maar het team doet erg haar best om er iets leuks van te maken. Het deed mij qua sfeer nog het meest denken aan een herberg maar het eten en porties zijn goed. Wij hebben hier niet gelogeerd, alleen gegeten en zaten volgens mij als enige niet-logees (in de leeftijd eind 30) tussen de logees (50+). Geeft niet, maar alles bij elkaar was het voor ons wel een heel grappige ervaring. Where shall I begin. Our experience was really not negative, but we had very different expectations, purely based on the reviews on Google. In terms of building and furnishings, it is indeed some past glory, but the team is doing its very best to make it fun. In terms of atmosphere it reminded me most of an inn, but the food and portions are good. We did not stay here, only ate and I think we were the only non-guests (in the age of 30) among the guests (50+). Doesn't matter, but all in all it was a very funny experience for us.

O	Oscar Brouwer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het eten is zeer lekker. Wij hoefden niet lang op het eten te wachten, maar het was dan ook erg rustig in het restaurant. De locatie is mooi. Let er wel op dat wanneer je uit de richting van Joure komt, je de inrit naar het restaurant makkelijk voorbij rijdt. Rustig rijden als je er bijna bent is dus het devies. Enige opmerking die we zouden kunnen maken is dat men na het dessert niet vroeg of we ook nog iets wouden drinken. Dat gaf een beetje de indruk alsof men wel graag wou afronden (het was toen nog maar half negen 's avonds), maar dat heeft wat ons betreft niet afgedaan aan de totale beleving The food is very delicious. We did not have to wait long for the food, but it was very quiet in the restaurant. The location is beautiful. Please note that when you come from the direction of Joure, you can easily pass the entrance to the restaurant. Drive slowly when you are almost there. The only comment we could make is that after dessert they did not ask if we also wanted to drink something. That gave the impression as if they wanted to finish (it was only half past eight in the evening), but in our opinion that has not detracted from the overall experience.
