Only three stars, due to two important minors.The wine arrangement is simply too expensive: your glass is 'wetted' (small amount) with wines that are bland or mediocre at best, but you pay a premium. This is a general problem I see more often in Dutch restaurants. Second, paying a hefty supplement for a cheese plate that replaces a dessert but mainly contains dice-shaped crumble cheese from Holland feels a bit like easy money. Overall, a great experience, but recommended to stay away from the extras.

Everyting plated out of a picture book. Awesome and highly instagrammable plating. Good eating.

I was very impressed in the past (before I was diagnosed with food allergies) by the creativity of the chef and great service, I would highly recommend it unless you have food allergies. I am gluten and lactose intolerant and though they made good food for me, they served me cheap dry bread while my husband got an amazing freshly baked bread. My heart dropped, it did not seem like they were fair or well prepared. It was tolerated until dessert when again they served more options to my husband and I got a lame one with some dry almost burnt puffed rice to decorate the dish…..sorry, this does not fit the level of the restaurant. The cooks should be better prepared for fair options to people with intolerances, I reserved with details on my allergies and they did not deliver.
