M	Mike Forward on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleasant Dutch restaurant away from the tourist areas. Of the four of us two of the meals looked good, one ok, and one poor in terms of value for money enough though the food itself was done well. But, a few pieces of ravioli for €17/€18 doesn't do it for me.
S	Shannon M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been going to Fleurie for years. We really like the atmosphere. We almost always order the truffle burger although it's not as good as it used to be. It tastes less like truffle and the mayo that comes with it (in my opinion) should be truffle or normal mayo but it has a tinge of mustard in it which I find odd. I've only given Fleurie 3 stars because the service is very hit or miss. There are a few servers who have been there for a long time and they're very good, friendly, professional and attentive. There are also a lot of times when we see new faces and sadly these people sit behind the counter with their back to the room looking at their phones. We've eaten there when it's very quiet and I've had to get up to ask for a refill on my wine because the staff is immersed in their phones instead of checking on tables. We've been "greeted" with a scowling face like we're putting the person out by being there... and I have left more than once saying to my husband we should just stop going there. I do think the owners should do more in terms of training staff to be professional, attentive and friendly. I also think the truffle burger needs more truffle and parmesan flavour! Food for thought!

Around lunchtime it gets busy with representatives of old and new money, mostly ladies of a certain age, gathering for a hearty bite. The food is good though somewhat pricey and the service is friendly, but at a moderate pace. Overall a good place to make a stop and enjoy life.

The terrace is great to catch some sun (lovely decoration) and observe slowly village life. The location is perfect, especially if you want to combine doing shopping/groceries and getting a bite. If you’re lucky, you can park your car almost next to it.
