After finally inquiring on their status, the waitress looked confused and asked us if we had ordered any food... maybe their English skills are just too poor, but she confirmed our order when we placed it, so I don’t know...

After I was told by another driver that this truckstop was here, close to my destination I went there to parkup for the night. Normaly a truck driver would nead to pay €10 for the night and then get +/- €8 meal discount. Not so at this small "Van der Valk" look a like truck stop. Outside a sign to pay €15 for the night Parking but have your meal in order to get your discount. So what is the problem ?? I went inside and was given the menu and WOW ! It was realy expensif, the cheapest was a hamburger meal for €19 whice I would have payed €8 for at Burgerking. But ok the parking discount in the back of my mind i had the meal. After I had to pay more than €20 and €2 for the parking! So where did the truck drivers benafit go?? Well here at "De Goudreinet" OUT THE WINDOW ! .
On my way here I pased truck stop Nobis in Asten where i parked up many times before with excellent results, good food for a good price. This time i went past it to be closer to my destination but next time I'll be back there to prefent beeing screwd ofer. This was my first and LAST time to come to truck stop "de goudreinet"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only stopped for coffee but what a nice coffee.anf the restaurant looked good too. Full of Dutch people eating so must say something about the quality of food here. Very clean with good service and large free car park with added bonus of car charging if you have a Tesla! When you exit the highway you see the MacDonalds first, carry on its behind that.much better coffee!
