Al meer dan 30 jaar is restaurant Hugo een begrip in de omgeving van Waalwijk. Vroeger was het café een plaats waar de schippers uit de inmiddels gedempte haven en buurtgenoten elkaar troffen voor een borrel of praatje. Tegenwoordig is Hugo veelzijdiger dan ooit, maar blijven twee aspecten op deze historische locatie het belangrijkst; genieten en gezelligheid.

T	Theo Van Boxtel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk eten! Een stukje brood bij hete gamba's en paar frietjes bij een ribeye zou zeker meerwaarde hebben. Waarom gaan we in Nederland ook naar de betaalde bijlagen. Als de bediening had uitgestraald dat ze er voor ons ook waren had ik 5 sterren overwogen. Daar mogen ze volgende keer aan werken. Delicious food! A piece of bread with hot prawns and a few fries with a ribeye would certainly have added value. Why do we also go to paid supplements in the Netherlands? If the service had radiated that they were there for us, I would have considered 5 stars. They can work on that next time.

Wij hebben samen dit gekregen van onze kleinzoon BOB (19 jaar) voor ons 50 jarig huwelijk...geboren op onze huwelijksdag...alles was echt heerlijk zo ook de wijn... ?. Dankjewel BOB... Beautiful location, delicious food and the service, so sweet and so friendly ... Will come back really soon.. We got this together from our grandson BOB (19 years old) for our 50th wedding anniversary...born on our wedding day...everything was really delicious, including the wine... ?. Thank you BOB...

Our kids where very hungry, after a long day in the Efteling Park and we asked for a speedy plate for them and a few minutes later, they got their food on the table. We waited for our delicious Rib-Eye Steaks and as we were eating this little piece of heaven, our kids got a bowl of toys to choose from, which made them very happy. This was an delightful closing of a very nice day in the Netherlands. Thank you very much HUGO, anytime again!!!
