Waren op tafel bij de keuken ingedeeld, maar konden evt. ook uit twee andere tafels kiezen, wij vonden bij de keuken zitten erg leuk en een beetje een chef’s table idee! Keurige wijn, leuk opgediende gerechten. Sommige bediening leek nog in opleiding, maar dat stoorde ons zeker niet. Ze hebben trouwens heerlijk water dat uit de kraan komt, maar dat wordt helaas niet aangeboden.
Restaurant in the hotel Gulpenerland, (as part of an arrangement) good food. Were on the table near the kitchen, but could possibly. also choose from two other tables, we really liked sitting by the kitchen and a bit of a chef's table idea! Neat wine, nicely served dishes. Some ministry seemed still in training, but that certainly didn't bother us. By the way, they have delicious water that comes from the tap, but unfortunately that is not offered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 star prices with 1 star food. Extremely expensive for what you get. Tiny portions trying to be artistic, when the focus needs to be on the ingredients first. Might be a problem with the management. The ingredients were bland, not fresh, the fish was a cheap white fish with no flavor. We ordered an artichoke appetizer to share and got this (see photo), half an artichoke, split in half with a dallop of store bought mustard. The best part was the goat cheese. Service was friendly and attentive. The best part of the meal was the bread and truffle butter. No complaints there.
