N	Nienke B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was quite good , so was the service. It's not cheap! (For teens for example) That's logical ofc but if you want to eat low budget I wouldn't go here. The sfere is also good with nice decorations.

They took our order and we could see on the app it was accepted. 1.5 hours later we looked on the app, and it said it would be delivered in 15 minutes, with the name of the delivery guy and his picture. 20 minutes later we check again in the app, and it says our order was cancelled by Motto. How on earth do you cancel an order after nearly 2 hours? On top of that, how do you not contact the people ordering and leave them hanging..

Motto Sushi used to be my go-to in Alkmaar, but now sadly this was my last visit here. Their famous beefroll recipe is destroyed and they changed it and added cheese. Worse decision ever. Service was terrible, food came so slow and taste wasn't good. Their own app during COVID to have the menu on the phone is terrible and didn't work. We had to wait 30 minutes to get drinks after we found out our order didn't come through with their new system. I Do Not recommend this place any more.

Some food tasted different then during prior visits, they seem to have some new staff, and the staff was not really very present. Normally we are emediately greeted with some Wasabi at our table, I actually finished my first round while waiting to catch a waiter to ask for it this time. Also the layout seems to have changed, and it was at certain times, a very noisy experience because of the setup.

We came in when it was not so busy, so service was very fast. When it did get busy , we did notice a significant drop in quality of the sushi, as well as the hot dishes. Shame. But overall, good price for what you get!
