WELKE WIJN?

Samen met onze wijnleverancier Ad Bibendum (leverancier van talloze gerenommeerde restaurants) zorgen we het hele jaar door voor wijnen die naadloos passen bij de gerechten die geserveerd worden. Onze bediening adviseert u graag.

BIER HIER!

Vanzelfsprekend wordt hier een goed glas getapt. Wij kozen bewust voor een relatief kleine brouwer uit het zuiden van het land: Gulpener, de vrije brouwer, zoals zij zichzelf noemen. En dan schenken we niet hun gewone bier, maar hun Château Neubourg-pilsner. Een behoorlijk deftig glas vernoemd naar het naast Gulpen gelegen gelijknamige kasteel. Het bier heeft een ‘edele bitterheid’, zo noemen ze dat. ‘Een superieur pilsener met karakter, naar grote hoogte getild door een geraffineerde combinatie van fijne kruiden en zuren, bloesem- en fruittonen en een aromatische gerststructuur’. Kortom: bier voor onze fijnproevers.

Verder zijn er altijd nog twee speciaalbieren van de tap die wisselen met het seizoen, ook van de Zuid-Limburgse brouwer.

EN VERDER …

Naast alle gangbare drankjes zijn wij ook trots op onze gin-tonics. Daarvoor hebben we een aantal mooie, vaak Nederlandse (want dat zijn de beste) ginsoorten in huis die we mengen met de mooie tonic van Fever-Tree. En we hebben – in datzelfde licht een primeur: Seedlip’s non-alcoholische destillaat, te drinken met tonic. Lekker voor de bob!

c	casey rogerson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i came here with my myself last day and was greeted by a very angry women she started to kick me in my shins telling me to get a drink so i asked for tea. then she through the tea bag at me and told me to make it my self. but then all off a sudden she started shrinking so when i when i came to getting my food she was half the size she was. at the end i went to tip her but she was that small i could hardly see her so i put her in my tea bag and fed it to my pet dragon.

We waited for over 45 minutes, and two of the four dichess had to be returned, when they finally arrived. If it isn't crowded, I would recommend it, but not if there more than 10 persons already there.

Still, ehat made it a perfect outing was not the great food, but the fantastic service. A couple at a 4 people table was politely asked to move to a 2 people table so they could accommodate us, the waiter asked is the kids can have their knives or he should give it to the adults, all our requests were fulfilled, and with a smile. We loved it, the kids loved it, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The restaurant is located next to a great park, too. Take a stroll before or after the lunch, and enjoy beautiful nature as well as good food!

The atmosphere was mainly dominated by the lady taking the orders, very unfriendly and rude. Food is nice but too expensive for what you get. And we waited for 45 minutes for 2 simple dishes.
